Have you always wondered what quantum is about?

-
Abstract

This talk is dedicated to the birth of quantum mechanics, almost a century ago, the most important scientific discovery of the 20th century. We discuss the main ideas of this quantum revolution at the level of beginners/pedestrians. A new historical interpretation of the time-table will be given and some recent results/treatments will be pointed out. For the general audience, basic knowledge of physics could be useful.
