Finding Your Queer Subspace: Building Community and Inclusion in Mathematics

In this talk I will talk about my experience on the importance of being able to forge your own identity, forming community within the intersections of mathematics and science, and why it is important to continue to fight for space in the academic conversation. I will also talk about recent Spectra initiatives and events.
