Algorithms for classification of landing sites in the Mars Exploration Program

Matthew Golombek (https://science.jpl.nasa.gov/people/Golombek/), senior research scientist at JPL - NASA, will give a talk on Wednesday, July 21, at 11AM. Everyone is welcome to attend. The talk will be accessible to undergraduate students and will discuss algorithms for classification of landing sites in the Mars Exploration Program.  Dr. Golombek  will also talk about the importance of high-resolution imaging (like HiRISE, https://www.uahirise.org/).
